Not every load of firewood qualifies for Dry My Wood™. Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility Requirements
Dry My Wood™ is designed to help homeowners who were misled. This service is meant to help fix the problem caused by the illegal sale of green wood advertised as seasoned. This is not to provide an ongoing drying service.
To qualify:
Service is available only to residential households who recently purchased wood advertised as “seasoned” and can't get a refund
Proof of purchase (invoice, communication screenshots, or receipt) is required
One service per household
Wood must be unseasoned and split
We may decline wood that is rotted, moldy, insect-ridden, or visibly damaged
Emergency Help for Home-Split Wood
If you split your own firewood and it didn’t dry in time, we may be able to assist on a case-by-case basis. Proof of splitting and storage may be requested.

Dry My Wood™ professionally kiln dries your firewood to make it safe, efficient, and ready to burn.
Controlled heat treatment: Green wood is heated to 160°F for 3–5 days, removing moisture to 0-10% and exceeding standard heat-treatment requirements.
Continuous monitoring: Integrated core temperature and humidity sensors ensure each log dries evenly from the inside out.
Consistent results: Maintaining precise kiln conditions reduces moisture to safe levels, preventing excessive smoke and creosote buildup.
Burn-ready firewood: Once complete, your wood lights easily, burns hotter, and produces a clean, long-lasting fire.
How to Order Dry My Wood™: The Firewood Co. Kiln Service
Getting your firewood kiln dried is simple:
Confirm eligibility – Contact Michelle at office@firewoodorder.com to verify that your wood qualifies. Make sure it is residential, unseasoned, you have proof of purchase, and you haven’t used the service before.
Add Dry My Wood™ to your cart – Visit firewoodorder.com/shop and select Dry My Wood™. Enter the current location of your wood (e.g., driveway) and where you would like it stacked upon delivery (e.g., garage). Click Add to Cart and complete the checkout process.
We’ll reach out via email within 5 business days with your pick-up date.
Kiln processing – Your firewood will be processed for 3-5 days in the first available kiln.
Delivery – Once kiln dried, your firewood will be added to our delivery schedule. We’ll contact you with your delivery date, and your wood will arrive stacked and ready to burn! 🔥
